HUBUNGAN INTELEGENCE QUATIENT (IQ) DENGAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DALAM PROSES KEPERAWATAN
Abstract
Background. IQ (Intelligence Quatient) is  a cognitive component that  determines a  student in critical thinking at every stage of the nursing process. Curriculum evaluation results demonstrate the critical thinking skills of students in providing nursingcare tends to decrease Objective: to know the relationship with IQ scores of critical thinking skills in the nursing process at the third level students Surakarta Panti Kosala Nursing Academy  Methode. This research is the study of correlation, with a level III student Surakarta Panti Kosala Nursing Academy respondents number of 124 students. One samples taken where there is a student being removed from the  research  process.  Analyzed  by Spearman Rank Order Correlation test using SPSS for Windows 16 series Results: on Level III Nursing Academy students in 2012 showed Panti Kosala (1) Average - The average IQ  score is 84.43 (2) Average - The  average value  of critical  thinking  skills including good category and 105.78 (3) In there is a significant positive correlation between IQ with critical thinking skills in nursing with the Sig. (2 tailed) 0.013  Conclusion: The IQ scores have a positive correlation of critical thinking skills of students in the nursing process  Keywords: IQ (Intelligence Quatient), Critical  Thinking, Nursing ProccesAdditional Files
